Using direct and indirect object pronouns in Spanish is a way to be more efficient with your language.
However, it can get complicated. In this workshop series, you will learn how, when, and where to use the me, te, le, se, nos, os, les, lo, la, los, las.
The class schedule is as follows:
Lesson 1 – Opens Oct. 31: Los complementos directos
You have one week to watch the video lesson and complete the practice activities BEFORE attending the live practice session. In this lesson you will learn:
- ¿Qué es un complemento directo?
- ¿Qué son los pronombres de los complementos directos?
- ¿Cómo los usan y dónde los ponen en las frases?
- 3 considerations as you substitute the pronoun for the direct object
- How NOT to use them
Zoom Class 1 – Nov. 7: Learning how to use los complementos directos
We will practice content from lesson 1: How to use Direct Object Pronouns. In this live session you will have an opportunity to reinforce and use the Spanish that you’ve been learning in these lessons in small group practice sessions. Your Spanish teacher will also address your questions and doubts.
Lesson 2 – Opens Nov. 14: Los Complementos Indirectos
You will have one week to watch the video lesson and complete the practice activities BEFORE attending the live practice session. In this lesson you will learn:
- ¿Qué es un complemento indirecto?
- ¿Qué son los pronombres de los complementos indirectos?
- ¿Cómo los usan y dónde los ponen en las frases?
- What to do the verb Gustar?!
- 3 considerations as you substitute the pronoun for the indirect object
- How NOT to use them
Zoom Class 2 – Nov. 21: Los Complementos Indirectos
We will practice content from lesson 2: How to use Indirect Object Pronouns. In this live session you will have an opportunity to reinforce and use the Spanish that you’ve been learning in these lessons in small group practice sessions. Your Spanish teacher will also address your questions and doubts.
Lesson 3 – Opens Nov. 28: Double Object Pronouns
You will one week to watch the video lesson and complete the practice activities BEFORE attending the live practice session. In this lesson you will learn:
- How to ID the sentence
- How and when to use double object pronouns
- Some common mistakes to avoid when using both
Zoom Class 3 – Dec. 12: Double Object Pronouns
We will practice content from lesson 3: How to use Direct & Indirect Object Pronouns together. In this live session you will have an opportunity to reinforce and use the Spanish that you’ve been learning in these lessons in small group practice sessions. Your Spanish teacher will also address your questions and doubts.
We believe you have to APPLY what you’re learning! What good is all that head knowledge without opening your mouth, making mistakes and using the Spanish your are learning!!!
One week before the live class, you will receive an email with your lesson to study. You will have one week to study the grammar, vocabulary and phrases and then you will come to the live workshop on Zoom to practice what you’ve been learning!!!

Who is this class ideal for?
The ideal student has studied Spanish before and has a working knowledge of present tense verbs and knows how to conjugate them. You are also able to communicate in the present tense and have can form and express sentences.

What is the format of this class?
This is a hybrid online course: This course is 100% online and combines asynchronous learning (on your own time) with live classes at scheduled times of the week (over Zoom). Each course includes video lessons, vocabulary lists and practice, online posting boards for regular feedback from your instructor and conversational prompts for further practice.
