After your program orientation, join us for an interactive coffee tour and tasting at CAFE BRITT! This is great way to learn about the history of café in Costa Rica and taste some of the best! You can also buy some coffee to take home. Oh, and as an added bonus, you will learn all about the public bus system 🙂
The Cafe Britt Coffee Tour is an optional excursion on Spanish Immersion trips in Costa Rica. This is a half-day tour and is usually done in groups in the morning before your afternoon Spanish classes. Private tours outside of schedule can also be arranged.

Please note: Transportation is not included in the tour cost – the group will share a taxi or take the bus to get to the tour.

Aprendimos del proceso de la producion de cafe. Nos enseñaron como y por que el sabor del cafe puede cambiar debido al clima y otras razones. Si te gusta o te encanta el cafe, estoy segura de que te va a encantar este tour. Es muy informativo y interesante.
I’m not a coffee drinker by any means, but I enjoyed this tour. The guides, I believe, were a father-son duo and they were hilarious. We learned about the coffee production process and how and why coffee can taste different when grown in different climates and other reasons. If you like or love coffee, I’m sure that you will love this tour.
