Ingapirca Ruins day trip – Ecuador

Day trip to Ingapirca – one of the most important Incan ruins in Ecuador.

Ingapirca is a word in Quichua word that means “wall of the Inca”. It is estimated that this area was constructed in the early 1500s before the Spanish arrived to this zone. At approximately 10,400ft elevation, this site is believed to be an ancient solar and lunar observatory site.
